I grew up with a autistic brother and i think that plays a part in why i have MDD. Does anyone else have a Autistic family member of friend or even Autistic yourself?  I am curious to see if some of us have this in common.

I raised a high functioning autistic daughter.  My MDD started way before that, but during the years I raised her the negativity of my DD became worse.

My therapist thinks there is a strong possibility that I am on the Autism Spectrum ( more specifically she thinks I have Asperger's). I am getting evaluated in about a week.

My grandfather has Aspbergers, my father and I both show signs of it but never bothered with anything like a diagnosis, as we function efficiently and see no need for it.
