Has anybody had trouble with staring into space for a number of years, because they were locked in a story or they were longing for something? Has it changed your health? I did this for as long as I can remember, and it's effected my brain age.

creativity keeps you young. im not a very social person but i dont think daydreaming has affected my health or intelligence. not blowing my own trumpet but i was the most intelligent kid in my school and given a conditional place in two universities at 15 but schooling just wasnt for me. i couldnt concentrate, i liked the feeling of losing control with alcohol (even when drinking alone) and because of that im not the healthiest both physically and mentally. cant say i had a bad childhood and i wasnt really bullied growing up as it seem a lot of people with MDD are but i do think i looked for trouble myself wanting to feel something real
It is a relief to know that I am not the only one, sorry if I have a handwriting error I am Brazilian and my English is not very good.
since i remember that i create stories and stages, when i watched movies i thought about similar stories or even i was the main actor when i was growing up i started to do my own daydreams.
