So it is obvious that there is little research on MD, we need to step up, it will be decades before we are seen in a light of someone who suffers with something severe. We all need to step up! We cannot just rely on researchers like Eli Somer we must do our own research. I know many of us already are, I don't mean that we need to put on a lab coat, I mean to use our logic and common sense to figure out different aspects of our mental disorder, we can do this! We are smart! We can receive remission! Let's step up!

I agree, awareness is one of the biggest ways we'll be able to bring MDD more to light

I definitely agree. It's especially bad when people with MD are misunderstood by medical professionals, then misdiagnosed.

We could also divide ourselves into regional groups, find a leader, a data collector, a writer, etc, and we could do mini studies like that so we could find out more information, I would be, for example, in the Nashville group, and other groups like that, but it is a big project. Regardless, no matter what we do, we need to do something.

We could all write down individually everything we know about our own form of MD, but that raises the problem that not everyone is good at putting research data together.
