Maladaptive Daydreaming vs. Compulsive Fantasizing- Which do you like best?

So, the title page on the site says that MD is also referred to as Compulsive Fantasizing. I think I like CF better? I think MD sounds so negative and CF sounds more positive. Maybe I'm just being weird, which is more than likely the case, but still, what do you all think?

CF does have a rather positive vibe.Fantasizing sounds more creative than boring, old day dreaming and Compulsive sounds less dysfunctional than maladaptive.

MD does make it seem more like a disorder. Of course, the fact that it can interfere with your ability to get things done and have relationships makes it maladaptive, but in general I just call lit roleplaying, daydreaming, or fantasizing. I do think compulsive fantasizing describes it better to someone who doesn't know about it.  :)

Well, the original name was Maladaptive Daydreaming.  Then, when Dr. Cynthia Schupak and Jayne Bigelsen did their study, they called it Compulsive Fantasizing.  I'm ok with either.  CF describes a more broad spectrum of people who fantasize but aren't maladaptive per se.
