What it would be like to try to make a survey to see how we all pan out since similarities exist -- you know, comparing any diagnoses we have had, our living situations past and present and how we all look at our futures. You know?  I really want to look into creating one, however time consuming and thinking of all the content may take some time.

Anyway, I was wondering (to whoever reads) which things (realistic!) you have 'experienced' in your DD compared to things you have not done.

For example: in my day dreams I am often in relationships, but I have never dated yet.  And I fear I won't.

Another one would be in my DD I always have a very successful job, but currently I battle finding a job or even a niche I am passionate about that could someday produce financial stability.

Just curious how these may vary.  I say realistic because let's be honest most times we're not going to fulfill some of the more far stretched things, I suppose I mean 'basic life milestones' as many would see love lives, careers, etc.

Well , my milestones are pretty much similar to yours. You pretty much took the words out of my mouth.

".....in my day dreams I am often in relationships, but I have never dated yet.  And I fear I won't.

Add to that in my daydreams, I can dance well, an play an instrument, have met a ton of famous people from different fields and every word from my mouth has value to someone whether in terms of acting like a panacea to their woes or enhancing their knowledge. I am like those commentators whose views are asked on every change and problem in the newspapers. Also like the guy at NYT, I can make correct predictions in elections, or have a rock band/am a rock band manager/learn guitar from Eric Clapton/have a hand-mad guitar made for me or am a millionaire investor who knows the likes of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. I also have friends who instantly get me, some famous, some not.

In real life, I am a college drop-out in a college whose syllabus would resemble a school syllabus in certain places, have extremely flat feet and fat fingers and am tone deaf. I have never seen a rock band play and my parents are kinda conservative so I probably never will. I have never danced due to the flat feet, in fact I can barely manage at the gym. Also if I look back on life I have never really had any real friends.

I can barely cope with daily communication let alone voice my opinion on various matters and unlike in my dreams where I am the master of my fate, here in real life, I most assuredly am not.

Yea, pretty much everything. I'll mention one.

In my daydreams I often perform singer-songwriter style. In real life I once did it with my cousin. My hands were shaking, I felt sick, I couldn't focus. I felt embarrassed that my hands were shaking. I have not played the guitar in public since, except in my daydreams. I wish I didn't have the physical symptoms of stage fright :(

Yes, that would be interesting.  There have been studies done on us that compare us.  Have you read any of those?
