Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
these days i daydream more than i should and find it difficult to stop.its usually about me a more idealised version of myself .My world the way i want it to be.so i was lyin on my bed as usual laughing and talking to myself when my mom walked into my room.she was like "what are you doing" and i thought oh god i am so busted.my mom thinks something is wrong with me because i rarely speak to her(thats cause whenever we speak it ends with both of us fighting and this would in effect lead to world war 3 and the neighburs would have to come and calm both of us down)or anyone in particular! i noticed that the days go by in a blur and i cant tell yesterday frm today because for me all the days are alike-monotonous dull and boring.has anyone seen the secret life of walter mitty?
i saw the posters hung up and i also saw the trailers its about a guy who daydreams all the time.it says stop dreaming and start living.its about time taht i make it my motto...

wow u have really cool parents.. my mom has seriously started considering the fact that im crazy since italk loud most of the time. when shes around i quickly take one of my chem textbooks and start reading that out loud... atleast then shell think im studying! :p
yeah its really embarassing when others see you pacing and talkin to yourself..mom is really suspicious these days and stares at me like im possessed or something.
I accidentally hit "add comment" how does that even happen... anyway, he unexpectedly came home a few times when I had my door open, pacing and talking to myself. I played it off as though I were exercising or doing something else (I usually get really worked up and I'm often out of breath while daydreaming, from running around and doing certain scenarios). Anyway, it can be super embarrassing!
My mom has heard me talking to myself, years ago when I lived with her. I was so embarrassed. I told her I was re-enacting a play or that I was on the phone, or something. Also, I sometimes do my MD scenes in the car, which of course, can get embarrassing if someone sees you. A friend I worked with at the time called me and said, "I passed you on the way home and you seemed really angry! You must have had your phone on speaker because I didn't see your phone, but you were clearly peeved at someone." hahaha, yeahhh. I was definitely talking to someone/mad at them. ;)
I live with my brother now, and he's come home a few times unexpecte
