Are your DDs more like fantasy of more like reality?

I have a poll up on my profile asking this same question but I'll ask it here as well. I'm really curious.

When I found out about maladaptive daydreaming last week, I was surprised that there were so many people who experience the same thing as I do. But what was even more interesting to me is the fact that some people don't daydream about things that could happen in real life. And some people don't even include themselves in their daydreams at all.

My fantasies are either just like reality or are mostly like reality with one or two elements changed. I frequently have a daydream where I'm in a studio class (I'm in college for art) and everyone in the class is behaving like normal. Then, an armed man comes in and changes the scenario. Then I can take this in different directions depending on what people I put in the classroom with me, how I think they'll react, the motives of the gunman, and the multitude of ways I could react.

Or sometimes I'll just have fantasies about having conversation with people that I know. These are probably the daydreams that I have most frequently.

So, what kind of daydreams do you have?

A. Just Like Reality: Your DDs are about everyday things happening with yourself and people you know.

B. Mostly Like Reality: Things in your DDs are like they are in your life except for one or two major elements. i.e. You discover that you have magical powers or you get held at gun-point.

C. More Toward Fantasy: The circumstances that you place yourself in are extremely different than you experience in life. i.e. You're taken to a new country to live amongst people that you don't know in life.

D. Complete Fantasy Land: You could be daydreaming about creatures living in an alien civilization. You and the people you know are not part of your fantasy.

E. Other: None of these fit. (If this is your answer, share how your daydreams are.)

I'm really excited to hear your answers. :)

Thanks

Anywhere from B to D; D more often but B lasts longer.

However, I rarely have a completely alien world. It is often more of a fantasy world than a science fiction world.

Either D or E.
Not so much that it`s a complete fantasy land. It definitely takes place on Planet  Earth, but certain ways that their goverment and society functions are very different than North American democratic governments, it`s more of a slight anacaristic society such. I don't ever feature at all in my daydreams. I have about 8 main characters who lead a very different life than the one that I do, and are very different than I am.

I'd go with choices B and C. My main daydream is mostly slice-of-life, and I research health conditions and professions to make my characters seem believable. But at the same time, I'll do something stupid once in a while, like my character survives falling from an airplane, and while he's in a deep coma, his spirit flows around watching people. =P I'll also take my characters back in time to historic events. I don't really daydream fantasy as in dragons, futuristic technology, or aliens, much. In my side daydream, I have a super power, but that's about it.

C. characters I don't know in real life ans situations that are more like an action adventure movie.

Probably in between C and D. I have based a few characters off of strangers and one of my characters is sort of me; but not exactly. I am not sure whether or not the setting would fit under C or D, my characters are still on Earth, but the countries/continents are shaped differently and have different names (but it is still the present time period). They also don't actually inhabit those countries. They inhabit a high-tech underwater country.

I think mines between B and C....leaning more towards the B

I suppose B the most because in my mind I do have superpowers :p

But besides that I my daydreams carry out as normal and are based on how my day went, I just come home and tell my DD characters everything and live a more appealing life in my head where I engage in certain activities I find difficult to do in real life, the only big difference being I'm probably talking to Nightwing or Red Robin in my head :p

So I guess also E. to because even though most of my daydreams are constructed where I just come home and live with my DD characters and talk about my day and do normal things, I also have constructed things to where I can jump through different dimensions (since I so often talk to characters from different shows/comics/etc.) and it is a very unique and somewhat rare power to possess.

A and C, for the most part.

A. Conversations with people I know, used to know or wish I knew (LOL)

C. Made-up people but in semi-"realistic" situations, like a novel but I am not in the daydreams

Both d and b I think.

I got two dd one is a completely alien world far away from here and that world interacs with other worlds so your imagination can run wild on all the things u can think uP.

The b/c one is on this earth and more around my life with added people and modified situations

I would probably be E) It's mostly fantasy stuff, I'm a shapeshifter hybrid thing, and some characters are of one species and they're not actually in existence (or are they...? haha) but often I try to get realistic stuff happening, so it's quite strange when I do little, short storylines (often a scene 'idea' that gets 'cut out' of my daydream, I decide I won't use it) and something happens like I meet Emilie Autumn or win the lottery or whatever.

It's also quite hard to do realistic stuff when, not only is there is some fantastical people, but also when someone stronger than you would very much like to ruin your life, and has plenty of time and resources to do so (okay, it's not terrible stuff that happens, mostly, but the most recent news is that, because of him and a scene at school, my close mate, another good friend, a friend's friend and her boyfriend all now know the whole story and the wolf thing and stuff.)

Does that even make any bloody sense to anyone else?

Something between "C" and "D".

I'm mostly hovering somewhere around A and B.  My daydreams tend to fall into categories of things I wish would happen and things that I am afraid of happening.  The characters in my daydreams are all people I know in real life.  If I have a crush or a love interest, usually the daydreams will be largely centered around them.
