Would you take a life changing decision for some exitement?

MD is (in my opinion) caused by the unsatisfactory of ones life and is a mechanism used to cope with the abusements life gives you. So my question is, if you were given a chance to engage in something absolutely life changing but at the same time meant you could have a less boring or ordinary life, would you take it?

And when i talk about life changing, i mean examples like, say WW3 broke out, the entire world was in chaos, life was less boring and not the every day thing, so you either join, or not join the army, or something like that, just for the rush....

I think I would. Sometimes I feel like I need something to change to feel alive not just existing.

I think I probably would. My daydreams are very violent and chaotic, so being in WW3  (or something of the sort) would probably bring about some similar events as the ones that occur in my daydreams (though, I would prefer just for my daydream to come true).

Depending on the change, hell yeah.

That's kinda my plan, ha-ha. I'm going treeplanting this summer, which is pretty much hell on earth from what I hear but I'm excited for the experience. I want to do some oversees volunteer work too, or some nomadic living with a Moroccan Tribe.  My life goal is to become a pilot, i doubt i'll be accepted into a jet fighter training so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Helicopter Tactical stuff. :) If I can't get into the airforce I know I'm just going to join the general infantry. I'm really jealous of people who are fit enough to join the special forces, I think that would be insane.. so pretty much, after school my goal is to do as many wild things as I can!
Nice Halo pictures by the way :D

and how about you? would you?

Hell yeah. I don't like killing or violence and i bet i would most likely die but i would so do that!!! I want more excitement in my life. But if something like this did happen  and everything was chaos, after awhile i would wish it was back to normal then i would maybe daydream about being normal and then i would go after the chance for it to be unexciting but then if it was unexciting  i would want excitement again......... i think it would work better if i had it even.....

Me? If WW3(or something) started, I'd sign up for the frontlines. :) I just find my life soooo fuckin boring and dull, im in the 12th grade and all i do is study day in day out, and worrying about assignments and exams etc. its always some boring schedule.

But what i would always dream of is to be in the Halo universe, shootin aliens, rubbin my armor, loadin gun..aaaaah yeah.......

well it's not like the army is stupid...
they need to know  tons of things just like any job, and a lot of weight is put into them knowing those things for their survival sake.

OFF COURSE the army ain't stupid, in fact i love military oriented stuff, the tech and equipment they use is soooo high tech and high quality, and life in the military is pretty good for thrill seekers. But the salary ain't as good as some other jobs.......
