How was your day?  What did you do?  The least exciting the better.  :D

Today I woke up, hit the snooze button and didn't revise for Maths. Then I woke up ten minutes before having to leave the house, my hair a mess. In the afternoon the Maths 'test' didn't go that well, but I did know how to do some stuff . . .

 

Exciting moments of the day: 

 

I  convinced my friend (who is very finicky towards calories) to go with me to a burger place. Afterwards since we were (as she dubs) academically depressed we bought a huge Cadbury chocolate bar + cookies and ate them.  All of them.

 

Now, instead of writing my Biology paper and/or studying, so that afterwards I can hit the gym (to feel more relaxed for the amount of studying I still need to do) , I'm surfing the net. n_n

I found a really easy way, after many years of pulling my hair out.....so to speak.  Use a wet sponge!  Wet a sponge and run it over any surface.  It picks up hair so fast it's amazing.  I did my whole floor in minutes!  Genius!  

Of course with 2 kitties and one human in a tiny space..........I'm doomed.  We shed like NUTS.

Found someone who'll bleach my hair for fairly cheap. Hope it works out well because I have always wanted it evenly colored purple all over. Very scary idea, having it all stripped and done. I hope she can do it well. I've been trying to read ahead for my classes that start on Mon, so I won't be as stressed. I finished one novella, though it's not the first thing we're reading. I found another novella online, but I haven't been able to read much. I think my brain is tired. I've got 15 books to read this term. Eek!

Spent 3h getting my scalp burned, so I could have my hair bleached all one color & the purple would be more even. Hair turned bright pink at first. Ran out of hair dye when I was about half done dying it at home. Had to water it down but managed to get my hair 98% covered. End result: brighter purple, which is kinda what I wanted anyway. My hair is totally frizzed out. I basically look like Animal from the Muppets if his hair were purple. I kinda dig it.

Turns out it's more blue. Stupid yellow lighting in here. I never know what color my hair is because it looks so different in this yellow light. Oh well. I like how bright it is & that it's more even. Maybe in a couple of weeks, after this starts to fade, I'll get some more purple and dye it again. Fun with Muppet colors! Lol.

Got my hair cut again!  I've never had it this short in my life.  So weird!  It feels good, though.

Cordelia, your hair sounds adorable.  Have you seen Lisa Ling on Oprah's new network?  She's looking for more subject matter for her weekly show.  I think you and the whole issue of M. D. is edgy, diagnostically controversial and something that might appeal to her.  On Oprah's page, you can go to her network, then to her shows and get Lisa Ling.  It asks for ideas for her show.  I was going to write in, but thought it would be alot more impressive coming from you.  If you do, however, I will certainly write in as well, as I'm sure many would.

I can't find a link, but go to OWN network (Oprah Winfrey network), and click on casting call.  It shows all her own shows, including Lisa Ling's.  At that site, they ask for ideas for new shows for Lisa.   I've always found her to be compassionate and thorough.  I think people would be fascinated, and you would be good at stressing the positives, which to my mind,  outweigh the negative, although they are considerable as well.  In fact, apparantly Oprah is looking for more original shows.  You would be great - an M.D. reality show.  How about a new name: (Mal)-adaptive Daydreaming?

Ok, sent her an email.  It's a long shot, but you never know.  I've been trying to get even a local person to do a story on us, but it's rough.  People don't seem very interested.  I hope this will change after Cynthia's study comes out, but I'm not holding my breath.

Another boring uneventful day.

Woke up at 7 AM and brushed my teeth then saw the movie "Magnum force". Then had breakfast. Then checked out my mail,facebook,twitter page. Then checked out some blogs. Spent 2 hours like this. Then went to library to get some books. Came back to room. Then saw another movie for a while. Then studied for an hour. Then went out for tea at 5 PM. After that came to room at 5:30 PM. Started listening to songs on youtube for sometime and checking this website. Still doing it. Hope to study and then write a diary entry after sometime. And not daydream.
