Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest

oh I forgot showers! I always do it in the shower
Pop music definitely, especially if I am driving. Classical music doesn't cause me to MDD which is why I listen to a classical music station while I am in the car.
Mine is definitely music, especially if it's really up-beat and stuff, it gets my so hyped and I can dream for a very long time. Other than that, boredom I guess can also trigger it, or a bad movie.
music, tv, and complete boredom.
In addition to the ones already named, anything beautiful. A new setting, like a park or building with interesting architecture. Not food, but certain smells elicit an emotion that takes me into a daydream.
If I may reply late: music is my second biggest trigger. Movement is my first. I can daydream just fine in total silence, but I need to be moving. It's impossible for me to not daydream on a walk or in a moving vehicle. I pace all the time at home and really any living quarters must have at least one little clear spot where I can pace; if there isn't one, I'll make one.
Is this weird? I don't think I've ever heard of movement being a dd trigger, but it absolutely is for me.
Actually, in the last study done by Dr. Cynthia Schupak and Jayne Bigelsen, they found out that most people enacted some sort of movement, like pacing, while daydreaming. I don't, but I do daydream whenever I'm doing something monotonous like going for a long walk. If I paced at home, I would fall on my face. Lol. That's just me, though. I'm clumsy, plus I have 2 cats. Anyway, what you're describing is completely normal.
