I just realized that the email address I have had for over 15yrs starts with "daydream" funny, I don't know why I choose that way back then, I didn't develop MD until this past april. But it is quite the coincidence. Maybe it was destined to be.

Cynthia used it in her paper to describe us.  Daydreaming really refers to thinking about real-life concerns, ruminating, fanciful excursions into what-if land.  Fantasizing is more elaborate with ongoing plots for the purpose of amusement, pleasure, distraction or escape.  We are anxious to get back to it.  It has a continuous, long-running aspect.  She estimated that 4% of us do this compulsively - more than we would ideally plan to.  She said she knew we had gotten use to the term MD, but we were in actuality not daydreamers but compulsive fantasizers.

Hey, I'm getting by, day by day. Funny thing is that I was never one to daydream, hardly ever before developing MD. I would spend my extra time creating art, now I can't seem to do any of it anymore, the DDs take all the mental energy.

Maybe you always liked to daydream in the usual way?  As opposed to compusive fantasizing?  How are you BTW.
