I stalled a bit in writing. I have not abandoned it. I haven't lost hope for that. And I am not down. But a tad bit disappointed. Oddly enough my DD/Story needs a bit more ....thought. That's right. I have to put MORE thought into my DD. Something isn't it?

Plot holes abound.

Anyway, I have returned to the less manic DD's and instead I'm looping again. The same scene loops. Over and over until I fall asleep. Maybe subtle changes in dialogue or gestures. I'm so detailed when it comes to gestures and expressions. In fact sometimes there is more silence in my DD than sound. My people say so much with just a look. Or a movement.

Loop loop loop.

I have been a bit tired. But I do realize now that my DD's and how I have them depends on what my week is like. If I'm busy physically. Lots of projects and other mind stimulating activities I do much less DD and more looping the scene. I need to take notice of what type of week I'm having or day ...etc ... I'm having when I get lost in detailed, epic beginning to end movies in my head which affects every aspect of my day! Of my week at times.

It really is all about my moods.

One last thing. I'm willing to admit this now. I make sound effects sometimes! No, don't think of Michael Winslow from Police Academy movies. Not that over the top and weird. Just sometimes I can't help myself. For example my character will be tapping a pipe with a tool or something (I don't kn0w - top of my head) and I'll under my breath make a "tuh tuh tuh" sound.

Goodness me. It seems so silly when we admit it. At the time though I usually think nothing of it.

Looping..the perfect word.My daydreams too tend to be repetitive and I tend to view it  as a mental security blanket my mind keeps to protect me from my real life problems when they tend to overwhelm.  I too make sound effects.Quite a few people on this site do as well. You're also similar mood-wise, i.e. moods affecting the kind of daydreams but when i am very creative/stimulated I also tend to have new.unique dreams.

I make a loud humming sound when I am intensly day dreaming, I guess that is sort of like sound effects.

When I am alone I will talk out the dialogue and have used hand gestures too. The more I am aware of my actions when I dd the more physical I realize I am. I just cannot imagine what it would do to me if someone caught me!
