Ever hear that phrase? "It's just my OCD." Honestly, I've always hated that phrase. People say it all the time, but don't really understand that the little quirk they are describing as "OCD" is actually known as an Idiosyncrasy.

The difference

Idiosyncrasy:

1. A structural or behavioral characteristic peculiar to an individual or group.
2. A physiological or temperamental peculiarity.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder:
an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations (obsessions), or behaviors that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions).

Okay so now that I've gotten that off my chest, I want to know; anyone have any cool idiosyncrasies? I've got tons. Like all my money has to face the same direction and has to be stacked from greatest to least value and folded once in half. And I have to keep my keys in my left pockets and my cell phone and ipod in the right pockets. I have more, but would much rather here from others! Please share!!!

Well I don't know how much of one this is, but all my nails have to be filed to the same length and ovular shape or I get VERY annoyed... (like if one breaks or chips and is unequal)

I've always set the tv volume to 5's and it still drives me crazy if my, say, colored pencils aren't at and even length. When I was a kid I always hated when 1 crayone would always be so small cuz I used it for some much. Then id have my people in my drawings have bright green hair instead or brown or violet arms instead of the tan color I had wanted to use. It. Drove. Me. MAD.
