Inspiration to document my daydreams visually

Ashlee's blog post of her character outfits inspired me to do story boards of some of my DD themes. Compilations of images that somehow remind me of my daydream themes. It will be the first creative outlet I have tried for a very long time. 

I feel the need to somehow save the daydreams, honor my "friends" my worlds, lives etc. I don't write creatively so stories are out of the question, besides I don't want to tell it all, I would feel too exposed. But if I put together images that mean something to me, I will not forget, even if no one else understands it.

I completely understand this need. But my characters are so much like me that if I tried to write about them it would be like writing an autobiography in stereo, lol. 

I would suggest drawing them, if you can. Maybe augmenting the drawings with photoshop, if you have access to it! Don't let yourself get too overwhelmed by the project though, then it will stop being fun! ;)

Tumblr can probably be described better by one of the younger people on here, but Instagram is app that let's you share pictures. It works a lot like twitter. You tag your pics & can write whatever you want describing it. Other people searching tags can see & like the pic. They can choose to follow you & vise versa.

I am so behind the times, I don't know what Instagram and tumblr are. lol

I feel the same way about doing one on tumblr I'm afraid my kids would stumble across it, because I love this idea so much I'm going to make an Instagram account dedicated to it.

I thought about doing it on pinterst but I have family that follow me on that, wouldn't want to spark any questions. I'll just post them to an album here.
