Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest

I wish...

I wish I have someone to talk to about my daydreams. Not just about MDD in general, just my daydream content. Fo those of you who don't know, my daydreams take place in an elaborate parallel universe, which is exactly the same as our own except for humans being kept as pets by aliens. We are still exactly the same, just as intelligent. Very few on earth know about aliens keeping humans as pets. I don't imagine it being another dimension, it's this one, but with the conspiracy. It is completely non-sexual, etc.

Anyways, I really enjoy talking about it. I love answering questions about the universe it takes place in, from the different species of aliens to what makes them dominate over us. Unfortunately, most members here aren't very interested in my daydreams. Sure, they'll humor me when I have them ask me questions about it, but they don't seem all that interested. I have a very complicated world, which is very well developed. I wish someone would be interested enough to legitimately be curious about it, and willing to talk about it when i want to. Of course, I'd be more tha willing to talk about other stuff...

There are always just so many characters and tons of complicated story arcs going on at once. I can't tell how all that stuff even fits in my brain.

In fact I laughed out loud when I read your post. I have been writing and illustrating my fantasy in novel forms since 1968, hence the paisleys. It has evolved through many permutations over the years. Lately, I have "come out" and created huge canvases depicting my dramas. Like yours the fantasy contains very little sex or nudity (though it may certainly contain sexual themes of captivity and suffering). The fantasy involves humanoid aliens keeping Earth people for pets. People find this off putting yes. Love the moment of silence when they first behold one of my big paintings of the science fiction world. Please, please I would love to hear about your "elaborate parallel universe". Bless up. Afan

(Example: if i had to write something about colorado, it'd be about the rocky mountains, but even then, it isn't a complete overview, etc.)
