Hey, has anyone found any medication thats worked? or at least reduced the symptoms of MD.

I have tried Prozac (similar to fluvoxamine) like i saw in the MD study but no luck. =(
My doc put me on Effexor XR and no luck either. Then he added Ritalin, and again nothing....it just made very anxious and hyper.

Im starting to think they are just adding whatever meda they can since they dont have a clue what MD is, even though i showed them the article.

oh, and i have taken Risperdone(antipsycotic) with no luck either, juat made me feel conjested and tired all the time....like tired, asin i couldnt keep me eyes open or my balance, i slept 12hrs a day no kidding!

Anybody else having any luck?
Anyone try Antiepelectic atogens? (i dont think i spelled that right)

my doc told me he was gonna put me on it after he got me off effexor but im doubtful since effexor has some HORRIBLE withdrawals!!!!!

The only meds I've heard of helping anyone are Fluvoxamine and Prozac.  Neither worked for me, but Prozac caused a slight elevation in mood for a brief period of time.  Most people seem to be saying that things like meditation, distraction, and the other tips I posted along the right side of the main page are working.  Obviously none of us has a magical cure yet, but if we all put our heads together and keep trying, we can help each other.  Good luck, and let us know if you find anything that works.  :)
