Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
Hey guys! Been awhile since I've been on here. Well, last night while at the movies I saw this trailer about this guy who spends most of his time daydreaming. I think i was the only person in the theatre who was all syked out about the trailer. =P
Anyways, Its called the "Secret Life of Walter Mitty." Im actaully looking foward to seeing it. I just wanted you guys to know about it. =)…

So, I told my doctor about my MD and he wants to put me on Ritalin 20mg. I'm still a little spectacle to try a so called "amphetamine" Sounds scary!!! =O Supposibly its suppose to help with my "concentration and attention" since he believes the daydreaming is preventing me from functioning properly in the sense that I tend to zone out a lot, procrastinate, and not focus. …

Ok, so after having a bad experience with my first phychaitrist, I decided to try another docotr. I was diagnosed with deppression and anxiety by my first Dr. and put on Prozac 20mg then ending in 40mg in which I just had horrible mood swings due to the medication. So, this other doctor at first thought I had ADHD innatentive, no suprise there since most dont now what MD is, he told me the daydreaming was part of it and the low attention also. Okay so today while doing some research on various meds tht may help for MD I came across this old post about this dude that like tried this drug called "Serdolect" He says it tremendously helped with his daydreams and even went to say he has somewhat stopped daydreaming all together.

Maybe its just me but when I drink, its like the urge to DD goes away. Well not completely go away but the urges subsize in a way. I feel no pressure from the outside world. Well, you probably know how it feels to drink anywway. everything seems how could you say it.........easier in some way.
