I think it is great that you have cut back on a lot of your day dreaming. I have cut back a lot to, and I am making some progress in communicating with others, individually and in small groups (3-4 people) . I have had extreme social phobia, insecurity, anxiety and OCD because of MD. My journey has been very long and difficult, I will be 80 years old in October and I started MD when I was about 6 years old, due to rejection from my mother, she wanted a boy instead of a girl when I was born.. And, My dad was a strict disciplinarian so I began creating my own world of peace, love and happiness, and it costed me everything,… Family, friends ,associates …. Relationships. About 10 years ago I ran across this forum (wild minds) and it was only then that I discovered that I had MD for all these years.
And what has helped me these past few years, and been my greatest inspiration is the study of the Bible. Reading and studying the Bible has calmed my fears and anxiety , and
through prayer and meditation God is working out situations and a lot of hang-ups that MD has caused me down through the years. It’s a journey and a process that He works all things out for our good, because He loves us unconditionally!
so, I encourage you to consider Bible study (maybe a free online class) ,that would be greatly beneficial.
keeping you in my prayers
Blessings
