I don't understand how I impact people and their feelings—they sometimes tend to be sarcastic or rude, and have an undertone in their sentences. And it gives me the impression they think I'm an idiot.
Some people just don't have good people skills, and they'll speak their mind, maybe it's their personality—and they'll hurt your feelings or embarrass you.
I want to be liked, but I'm not sure how, because it's just not easy. It's probably the way I express myself or how untalkative I can be—and I don't smile, and whatever escapes my lips is awkward with a blank look on my face. I'm not what you'd describe as "interactive" and I lack a sense of humour, and have trouble showing that I'm smart.
I think it's because I have ASD and an imaginative mind—but it draws me away from being a charming, likeable, and socially competent human. But I give an impression of being aloof, abhorred, and unfriendly, so many times people have made remarks.
