Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to ask if you guys have some tips as to how to stop MD. For me it is definitely a coping mechanism, one I have used since I was quite young in order to deal with problems that stemmed from school. But now I just want to stop as I spend most days doing this especially now that I am at home most of the time. I am sure all of you can agree that when you MD you get such pleasure and happiness so that's one thing that makes it hard to stop- but please tell me any tips you have that have helped you!!! :-)

I don't have any advice that will definitely help, but I have been suggested to talk to a hypnotherapist. Also been reading a lot about other people's experience and I think people with MD are very creative people. We can fall deep into our imaginations in just a split second after all. I want to start doing more creative things to occupy my mind and I've started learning/relearning piano as an outlet. I'll let you know if it helps.
