Basing characters on TV characters?
Does anyone else base any of their characters on TV show characters. I do....does anyone watch that show Raising Hope?....well for some reason I have a teenage Hope as friends with my main character.

I don't realy base charcaters off ot tv shows, I literally talk to them o_o but that's awesome at teenage Hope! I haven't realy seen all the episodes of Raising Hope, but I've seen enough to know that show is hilarious :p

i dont really use characters from tv shows either (unless they're hot lol) , but i copy certain scenes and get ideas from tv shows.

I don't use characters from tv shows, i just add my characters into the shows. and i love raising hope :)

I haven't used TV show characters specifically in a while, but I do regularly use characters, places, plot lines, and situations from movies, TV shows, and books of all kinds. Some inspiration I also draw from artwork and real places, and some are original.

I do that I think. I based an entire daydream off of a music video I watched. I tweaked it a little bit, though.

I do. The tv show Alias was why I started daydreaming. Now I have about five different main characters I use and one of them is a new character I created for the show Torchwood. I also have a character who is the actress who plays the Torchwood character I made up.

I love Torchwood, I steal Jack for my DD's all the time.
More on topic, I almost always pick and choose my favorite TV show or book characters then toss them into a plot. Sometimes I'll swap genders too, depends on how I feel.
