That is to say is there any way to use MDD in a positive way. To harness it, channel it in a way that can make us do something positive with our real lives. I ask this because while I daydream and fantasize about a much better past and present for myself, a lot of my daydreaming includes a whole new beautiful future for myself. So who is to say that SOME of my futuristic daydreaming won't come true at least in some ways?

I like to pretend my characters are doing whatever I'm doing with me. For example, one of my characters is a straight A student and I want to be just like her, so I imagine that were doing our homework or projects together. Or in school, I imagine that she can see my every thought (except the thought that she's in my head, lol), so I have to stay concentrated otherwise she'll get mad. I actually got a little excited about doing hw for a while because it was like we were spending time together. My grades really improved too, haha. :)

I'm also trying to turn my DD world into a novel. It's not really working out yet, but hopefully someday I'll find the discipline. I don't want all of the awesome characters or settings I've dreamed up to go to waste.

For me NO! I have goals that I'm going to set for myself but my DD's are not one of them
If there is some thing realistic in my DD's such as me being confident I will try to be that
Way in reality... I'm tired of my DD and MD because I want to live in reality And not in a fantasy
