hmm....

Cage of Fantasy?

not really sure haha

I guess it should be something that hints at both the positive and negative, although I believe it is more negative.

Is it about facts or is it fiction about someone with MD?

The Altruist has a good suggestion ^

You could just call it Maladaptive Daydreaming (I know, for someone with MD I'm not creative lol)

You could call it 'Trapped in my/his/her/your/one's own mind' maybe? (only pick one, don't use the whole thing lol. OK, I know, I'm not funny, but I am to me)

Or I just had INSPIRATION! You could call it 'Alternative Reality'!

Cuz it sounds sort of mysterious so people wonder what it's about.

Sorry, but it seems like a good idea to me, even if it isn't for real life.

Mmm...Trapped in the Looking Glass. Just off the top of my head.
On second thought that sounds way too depressing.

If it's a scientific, objective approach, then I would call it 'MD', otherwise... whatever strikes you best. :)

Or maybe yo could call it 'A Gift or a Curse?' or something similar.
One possible title: "Fantasies of a daydreamer"

Oh, it depends on whom I'd like to target :) The best title for general fiction seems to be "What if...". As they say in marketing, it would have the best stopping power in a book store. "Head in the clouds" seems romantic enough, competing with "Always in my mind".  "Impossible is nothing" seems the most descriptive but there could be a battle for the rights, after which I would change into "The power of impossible". And if I had to share my experience, I would call it "Mastermind chess game".

If it was from a negitive point of veiw, I would call it "Prisoner Of The Mind"

But if it was a positve point of veiw " A diffrent way of life"

Suspension.

Also, looking back, I'm thinking that jim henson Labyrinth movie was a big symbol for someone being trapped in thier head, no?

I"ve  always described it as The Playground Of My Mind, long before I knew it had another name.

I love all the suggestions.

@ Delorean: Yes, it is!  Labyrinth has been a favorite of mine for a long time.  :)

If it was about MD in general, I'll agree with others that Maladaptive Daydreaming is fine.  Just simple and informative and easy to find.

Some ideas if it was about my own experience:

Escape into my Mind

Lost in Thought

How my Brain Saved Me from Destruction

Living in my Head

Also, because most of the replies mention something along the lines about being trapped in our own minds, it made me think about Doors song.  Unhappy Girl always reminded me of my own condition, it could work as a title for my book if only it didn't break any copyright/trademark laws.

Unhappy girl
Left all alone
Playing solitaire
Playing warden to your soul
You are locked in a prison of your own device

And you can't believe
What it does to me
To see you crying

Unhappy girl
Tear your web away
Saw through all your bars
Melt your cell today
You are caught in a prison of your own device

Unhappy girl
Fly fast away
Don't miss your chance
To swim in mystery
You are dying in a prison of your own device
