Can I tell you what all we maladaptive dreamers are doing wrong? We try to block our fantasies so hard. You need to understand that the problem is not with your fantasies but the feelings that come along with them. Thats what's making it addictive. So instead focusing on your fantasies focus the feeling they bring with them.

What is your mood right now. You don't need to describe it. Just be aware of how you are feeling right now. Just accept whatever you are feeling right now. Don't have be like I'm angry or anxious or sad. Don't even attempt to describe it. Simply be aware of how you mind feels. What does it feel like to exist. What does it feel like to be alive. Just the feelings. 

Okay now don't let your fantasies change this feeling. Don't make yourself feel better. For the next few minutes that is going to be you job. Try not to change how you feel. I  mean why do you have to change how you feel. Whats wrong with how you are feeling right now. Everytime you wander off into your fantasy just examine how it changed your feelings. Be curious about what feeling it brought along. And then resume this excercise. Again don't try too hard. Just let your mind be. Just let it be the way it is. Are you thinking about your fantasies at this moment? No? Then you don't have to do anything. The whole point of this way of dealing with MD is that you are not focusing on your fantasies. You are focusing on the the feelings that come along.

You have keep developing working on you MD. NEVER GIVE UP. Remember we are fighting something that has been a part of us since years. Its obviously going to take a sometime before we get over it.

This method combined with mindfulness meditation works well for me. I hope it works for you too✌️.
