Hey everyone,

I was wondering do you daydream about famous actors, singers and other artist?

I really think my weak spot is male singers. If the singer is beautiful, has an amazing voice, I am helpless and start to daydream, create romantic stories and etc... It is especially related to songs, I create stories based on them.

Does this happen to you to? How do you deal with it?

I know that the best way is to avoid trigers, but how could you stop listening to your favorite music :)

I developed a crush on a certain male actor about 2 years ago. It evolved into an obsession now (I think). Not with Him personally per say, but I think up stories. The stories are rather simple, involving mostly the two of us. I have a few favorite scenes I reply  and act out. over and over until I have perfected it. I saved every picture of Him I can find in my Pinterest boards. Not a single day goes by that I don't look at the few I choose as my favorites that fit the current story in my head. I talk to him all day long. Discuss my daily life with Him. When I feel down or just lonely, I go spend time with Him. I am no longer interested in pursuing real people who want to just sit around and make small talk. I have no interest in that. My connection with him is far far far more exciting!!  I know it's not real, I'm not crazy. I know I should stop, but I don't want to loose Him. Right now it will feel like someone close to my died.

Exactly the same thing it´s happening to me with a male singer, I started my obsession with him a few months ago and what you told is 100% my own experience. Glad to find someone like me and knowing I´m not the only one and not crazy.

I'm male and have been Paul McCartney in my head for 27 years now. In college I just thought it was a fantasy thing, but I'm a lot older now (age 47) and it hasn't gone away. Every morning when I shower and get ready, I go through an interview with some radio or TV show in my head and talk about the Beatles and how "I" wrote what I did.

Over the years, I learned how to play bass,  played in some bar bands, and had 100K+ subscribers on youtube before they took my bass cover videos down because of copyrights.

I have a totally normal life with my work, and people who depend on me, and people who like me, my wife and family. They have no idea about my internal life and this Beatles thing.

Yep, that definitely happened, I usually daydream about characters created by me, but sometimes, when I think that a famous person is cool I start DD about their life.

I imagine them in the most bizarre situations, or I DD about their past, when they weren't famous, and about their future.

I think that if Alessandro Del Piero knew the life I imagined for him he would be freaked out XD
