Hi, has anyone experienced mood swings or other symptoms of withdrawal after stopping the daydreams?

I'm going through a very intense moment in my life where I have to go to school and work at the same time. The fantasies were really screwing up everything I did so I'm trying to forget them and I think it's working because I've almost gone a full day without them, but at the same time I'm experiencing feelings of frustration and profound sadness. I burst into tears the other day for no reason.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to cope with withdrawal symptoms? Has anyone else experienced this?

When I tried to quit MD, I also had withdrawal symptoms. Mine were pretty bad, even though I'm "high-functioning". Actually, I wasn't 100% sure that I had MD up until that point. My goal was to not daydream at all for a month. I only lasted about 18 hours.

My withdrawal symptoms were:

-fatigue
-having a headache
-head feeling empty and thoughts racing at a million miles per hour (now that my imaginary world was expelled from my head I didn't know what to think about)
-anxiety
-feeling scared for no reason

I just went back to daydreaming after that, so I'm no help. Maybe I could have lessened the withdrawal symptoms by not trying to quit cold turkey?
