how much are complex your DD

Hello everyone, i'm new on this site.

like the title said, how much are complex your DD?

I'm started to daydreaming when i was 12: when i was younger it was much simpler, but now it's gettting complicated.

For example: at the beginning, the main character lived most of his adventures in our regular world, but then he moves on (i think i was 16 whe it's happen) in an  alternative version of the Marvel Universe, but when the real nature of his parents shows up I started to create a multiverse, with rules of how to go into a different world, and "Plane" who are bound to the main world.

My DD world consists of several regions where each region has its own customs, traditions, laws, rulers, etc. People also have different powers and abilities. I try to write my DDs down but lately I've been behind on my writing because of school. I want my story to be detailed and a bit complex.

My daydreams started fairly simple as well. For example, in the beginning it was about how my character got his abilities, then it grew into how he used these abilities and how other people reacted. Now, there is an entire plot line with protagonists, antagonists, and everything between. There are new nations and there are events shaping the story. The story also has many genres that include but are not limited to: Science fiction, action/adventure, drama, and more. You name it, it has it.

I also created a character that my entire made up universe evolves around. I tried killing my character off but I just can't. My character has 2 extended families from 2 completely different backgrounds/ethnicities, a daughter, various relationships, and so fourth. The fantasy world takes place primarily in Miami Florida (I've never been there) and New York City (only been there once). That is just the tip of the iceberg.
