Anyone else feel left behind personally and mentally compared to others because of their excessive daydreaming? I know you shouldn't compare yourself to others and just be yourself but I find it hard to connect to others and if in a social situation for too long I feel drained from both listening and talking.

Social interaction is exhausting for me. Last night I went to see my mums band play in a local pub.  Today I've spent the whole day mentally and emotionally recharging. It usually takes 24-48 hours for me to feel like myself again. Last night was a fairly good night too.

I sometimes feel underdeveloped when it comes to certain things. I feel in many ways I am unable to take care of myself because I have little experience when it comes to the outside world and things I should have learned to deal with by now I'm still learning to do. In that sense I feel left behind.

Yeah underdeveloped is probably a better term to describe it. When in a social situation it appears easy to mix in with everyone else but it isn't, especially with people my age, then sometimes I feel the need to get out of there, even panicking at times.
