I'm staying in front of my pc right now and I'm enjoying old cartoons.

Being a 90s kid, I only watch real cartoons, if you know what I mean. Actually I think that this whole " brain refresh " thing wouldn't work with today's cartoons ( you have to be handicapped to like them, but that's another story ).

Cartoons will take you back to your childhood, but it's actually more than that: they will transport you to a universe in which everything can be simple, the world has colors, there are no racist/religious/sexist/etc. discussions and if there are any problems, there is always a way to laugh at them instead of getting drunk or puffing away some weed. Yes, there is a land where all these are still true and you don't even need to pay for it, you only need an internet connection, a cup of soda and there you go.

It is a refreshment to see that there is an imaginary world in which you can leave behind all the trash of this world.

@Ciara thanks, I can't believe I forgot it was from PB&J

@Matthew I completely agree, also that one scene in the lion king when Mufasa dies also makes me cry.

Completely agree, for the most part it makes you feel a little better.

I'm also a 90s kid, my favorites were pinky and the brain, animaniacs, rugrats, dexter's lab and Johnny bravo.

It reminds me of a time in childhood when I could escape my reality.
