Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
Be careful what you think, for your thoughts become your words.
Be careful what you say, for your words become your actions.
Be careful what you do, for your actions become your habits.
Be careful what becomes habitual, for your habits become your destiny.
Thanks to EludeMyFantasies, I have finally realized what I've been searching for. MD is a choice just like any other habit. It's just a very thick mist like any other disorder that keeps us from seeing reality the way it is. An illusion. If we just put our minds to it, we can get past the mist. It's entirely mental. Research the steps you need to take to stop daydreaming and focus on reality where you really belong where you can make REAL friends and REAL dreams/goals. You will never be able to do those things if you keep dreaming about them. If you wait for the perfect time to do something, you'll never get it done. Thanks again, EludeMyFantasies!
The Sucker Punch’s last words
and finally this question:
the mystery of whose story it will be
of who draws the curtain
who is it that chooses our in the dance
who drives us mad
lashes us with whips
and crowns us with victory when we survive the impossible
who is it
that does all these things?
who honors those we love with very life we live?
who sends monsters to kill us
and at the same time sings that we’ll never die?
who teaches us what’s real and how to laugh at lies?
who decides why we live and what we’ll die to defend?
who chains us?
who holds the key that can set us free?
You have all the weapons you need
