So, I have this thing where if someone kisses in a programme or film I am watching I will turn away from the screen. It's a personal moment for the characters and I don't want to intrude! When you see someone kissing on the street you're not like "Yeah, let me go get some popcorn, this is good stuff!" and watch them kissing. No! That is just gross! Does anyone else do this? Can anyone at least empathise with this issue? :-) xx

I'm almost 34, and I usually watch for a second and then turn away, not because I think it's gross or anything but because it feels like a private moment.  I'm glad people kiss and have that special connection, but it feels like an intrusion if I watch, even on TV.

I agree. It does feel like a personal moment. It's amazing how characters actually connect with you in such a real way. While I can't say I turn away I do feel a little pang of longing to share that moment with the right person because nothing beats it in my opinion :). I often enjoy watching couples walking hand in hand and cuddling (only briefly of course) I think its a beautiful moment when both people present their love to everyone, it really makes me smile. I agree staring with popcorn sounds a little creepy lol. Acknowledging them and their love for one another through a tender moment for just a split second makes it special though :). It's like they are oblivious to everything around them, stuck in that moment. I think it's really cute, but then again I am a mushy guy lol :). x
