I Want to Introduce New Music, My Singing, and My Personal Compostions to You =)

Hello everyone!

 

To start off, I just wanted to say thank you times a million to those of you who helped me get through my issues by commenting and helping me with my last post. I really appreciate all of your help. It really helps me out to know that there are others like me who are going through the same thing. :)

 

Anyways, I know a lot of great bands, and I know I have posted a blog similar to this one before, but this time it will be a little different.

     I hope you liked all of the songs I recommended at the beginning of the blog! I also hope you liked my covers on my YouTube channel. :) And I just wanted to thank those of you who have complimented me on my voice and my music so far...Your compliments mean so, so much to me, and half of the time I don't even know how to respond to your beautiful compliments. There are no words I can find to describe how much your compliments and comments mean to me. It is amazing. I do not, in any way, want to come off as a cocky person in this blog, my YouTube channel, and just in general. I'm sorry if I have, and I promise you I'm not cocky. In fact, I have pretty low self-esteem. I hate people who act like they're so much better at everyone and amazing at what they do. I do not consider myself a musician/singer yet, for I am still learning. But it is my dream to one day become a famous worldwide musician/singer...That is what i'm going for and never giving up on. And for those of you who have a dream, go for it. Don't let anything stop you, not even MD. :) You are all capable of anything. Anything is possible.

FLAG is quite.... different. Not my music at all, but I like it. The single, with FLAG and Time or Tea is released and on iTunes, if you use that at all, and I have the live versions, crap quality though, of 4 other songs (We want them young, (good song), Gaslight, One Foot, Girls girls girls and Take the Pill).

Just thought I'd also mention I think my new fave VoA song is Through My Eyes. You know it?

Oh my gosh, I LOVE Sirenia! I've never heard "My Mind's Eye", but it's gorgeous, thank  you for sharing. I also just LOVE "The Other Side!" That's the first song I heard from them a while back and it captivated me from the moment it began playing. I love the singer's voice. And the music video is really amazing, also!

Wow, this is insane!!! I LOVE Amberian Dawn! My favorite song of theirs is "Valkyries." Such an awesome song.  And yes, I LOVE Emilie Autumn, too! I love her songs "Dominant" and "Dead is the New Alive."

So you know Nightwish, too? I like them a lot. Mr. Tuomas is just amazing.

Have you ever heard of Mortal Love? They're really good! What about is Aesma Daeva? I love their song called "The Loon!"

I'm not in the USA, In crappy old New Zealand, and I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the only one here that actually knows them! Haha

I found out about them because I wanted more music like nightwish, so I managed to find a list of bands on Wikipedia that were all different types of symphonic metals, and I've downloaded stuff like Amberian Dawn (and VoA) which I know reasonably well, and Dark Moor is pretty awesome. I don't listen to much of Rhapsody of Fire (or just Rhapsody) or Freedom Call or Fairyland but they seem decent.

But yeah, there's a small list of other bands you may like.

I will highly recommend Amberian Dawn. In fact, there's some pretty epic similarities between AD and Nightwish.

Both are Finnish bands, both the same small genre, with four males and a female singer.

Both have a keyboardist/songwriter called Tuomas, and both their newest albums, Circus Black and Imaginaerum both have like, a dark circus theme. Pretty awesome.

Oh and do you know Emilie Autumn?

Get outta here!! Are you serious? That's so ironic! :O Visions of Atlantis is probably one of the least-known bands in the USA! I had no idea you knew their music. :P
