I have been trying to stop daydreaming for longer than I care to think about. Although I have had some successes, I have had many setbacks and have made but slow progress. But I keep trying despite how impossible it sometimes seems, holding on to fact that every bit of progress I make improves my life and the hope that one day I will be able to stop completely. I know there are others on this site who are also trying to stop daydreaming, and if you are anything like me you have likely experienced numerous set backs.
I recently came across a quote that can apply quite nicely to this which I found very motivational. I has helped me and given me a lot of hope so I thought I would share it.
"Self-discipline is a rigorous process at best; too many of us want it to be effortless and painless. Should temporary setbacks afflict us, a very significant part of our struggle for self-discipline is the determination and the courage to try again."
- Thomas S. Monson
I hope this quote helps some of you as it has me and I wish you all the best in achieving your goals!
