Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
Hey everyone. I thought I would share another poem I wrote about MD. It is called invisible world. I hope you like it.
Close your eyes drift and glide
to a place unseen.
A place between the heart and mind.
A spiritual,comfort place.
Chained around with the pain and sorrow.
Where the demons taunt
and the angels sing.
The mind explodes with creativity and imagination.
While the song birds sing the song of heart-broken people.
One question they hum.
A curse or a gift.
In the world unseen.
In this poem I didn't exactly choose whether or not it is a cruse or gift, but tried to cover both. I think this is one of my best poems. Now for all you poets out there I would love some advice on my poetry. Ohh, by the way I'm planning to write a short story of one my MD's soon. It will no the full story, but a small exert of it. I will try to post it on here. I'm not sure when, but I will be starting the story soon most likely.

the day one:
there wasn't a tree and Birds....
and the wind too
It wasn't barren at all
second Day:(it might be after a several days, still for the plot)
A bird was flying through
left a weed, that sprout the week after
plant grown into a tree
there were birds of kind
they sung,wind came.....
third day:(after thousands of days)
there is a forest now
full of indigenous trees,
spring..and wind......
grow my comrade with creativity at the fullest!!!!
all the best!
Yeah I know. I consider this my best piece so far. I've decided to change the way I write poetry some. I'm glad you like it. Thank you.
Thank you I'm glad you like it.
I particularly relate to "a place between the heart and mind." That is so true; it's neither & both.
"A spiritual comfort place" - like comfort food for the soul.
Good work. I'm not a poet, so I can't offer constructive critiques, but I love poetry, especially when it puts a feeling I already have into words.
