Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
Okay so I have researched and read that is takes on average, 30 days to break a habit. Since my MDD is in the stage of doing it out of habit. I have started this no MDD challenge with myself. I want to break my MDD habit by the end of October. If I don't break it, I want to at least improve on controlling it or slow down on how much I do it by at least half.
Hopefully this works and I will do an update in November to see where I' am.

Hey yoya,
So far so good I havent stop completely but I have seen a drastic change. I don't do it as much or often anymore. I will post some of my methods soon!!!

Good luck. Once you are done I would love to know what specific techniques you used as I also desie to stop. Take care and keep us posted.
Rafael,
Mine probably use to be an illness but I slowly grown out of it due to just being bored with it so it defeats the purpose of doing it. I still do it because it is still sort of a addiction/habit, but not in the "I want to" stage sort of in the "I need to until I fulfill my goals so I don't have to daydream about them" stage. But thank you hopefully I beat my challenge.
best of luck!!
but i think for some of us mdd is an illness not only a normal habit.
Best of Luck!
