My life right now

Hi everyone,

I haven't been doing very well. I have been stopping my DDing but I always catch myself DDing in small amounts without even realizing it and I feel like I'm going to end up completely dissociated from reality if I don't get a handle on it. I know some people on this site don't want to let their daydreams go but I WANT them gone. I'm so sick of having to daydream things to feel. Tip

I have figured out something that really helps me when I start to drift off especially when im doing something important. Whenever I feel myself starting to daydream I count to 5 in my head to end the daydream. I say in my head "OK you're daydreaming but its not healthy so by the end of these 5 seconds you'll carry about your day". Its really been working with me so I just wanted to share it!! OK I guess I'll just share my story with you guys. I've always been a really imaginative kid so I've always daydreamed throughout my childhood but it only started to be a problem this year. I would listen to music and stand in front of my mirror and just daydream for 2-3 hours. I would make facial expressions or even cry sometimes during these daydreams.
