Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
I moved into a new place today and I share a house with several roomates. I think this move will help with my MD greatly, at least along the lines of decreasing the ability for me to actively indulge in MD. What I mean by this is purposefully letting my self indulge in a trigger. The way my new room is set up, I cannot play my music at night and do my pacing/hoping thing without gaining unwanted attention. So I have not been to the doctors in ten years, not since my teens. I never went because I never got sick. Plus, I didn't have insurance once I left my family's plan. Anyway, I got a physical today and I mentioned how my memory recall has progressively become worst over the years. The Doc asked me a bunch of questions.She was a bit puzzled. Other than my MD' ing I'm healthy mentally(not depressed or suicidal or anxious) and physically fit.

Has anyone done meditation to help with MD?
Since my last blog post to stop MDing I've been rediscovering myself--I've had some fun, done new things, and met new people--which sounds great. I've been watching this site for awhile and have decided to join, because I want to stop MDing. I think if I track my progress up here it will help, even if no one ever looks on my page. I've been doing it since 11(so it's been 14 years) and it has gotten really bad over the last two years.
