Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
I don't want to jump to conclusions and think that most people with MD are totally introverted like I am. So I'm curious to know what your personality type is. Apparently, I'm an INTP, but I can't say that I love mathematics. The part about me venturing deep down into thought as to seem detached is the most accurate, and I suppose I'm very analytical and sensitive when it comes to certain things. The test is long; maybe you know a better one, or you can just tell what personality type you are by looking.

I took the test, but totally failed at embedding the results -- I'm definitely an extrovert. But, if I am alone and daydreaming for a period of time, I find it takes me awhile to "snap out of it" and become talkative/sociable again. And, the longer the dreaming episode, the longer it takes me to snap out of it.

Interesting results. I'm more extroverted than I used to be. I make myself start conversations, nowadays.
I got INFP on this test. I either get this or INFJ, and I'm confused as to which one is actually my type since I can relate to both of them very well.
I'm also INTP... or at least I was three years ago when I took the Meyers-Briggs.
I took the test again and got INFP.

I used to have a very introverted and creative type, i remember when i first did it.I got INTJ I think thats going to be a very common triat with all of us.
Part of it was because I was shy. I've moved to a city now and im very happy with my life. I took the test again a few weeks ago and I got ENTJ. Everything the same except now it says im Extroverted instead of introverted. I'm now confident while still creative, analytical and still a private person. Those are things i dont think will ever change though. Thats just me.
My dreams are just as strong and i dont tell anyone about it but it doesn't feel like some big secret anymore that makes me weird and crazy. I dont even think about it when im interacting with other people. It's just a part of my head and im sure in their heads they've got some things they don't want others to see. Im in a good place now. I encourage anyone who is feeling depressed and trapped to change their environment and must up the courage to try an act like the characters we dream of being. It worked wonders for me. I couldnt be happier.
I got INFP on the Meyers-Briggs test (except once with ENFP) and I think it pretty much suits me, except that I'm not always very introverted, it just depends on my mood and certain situations. When I took the Piratemonkey one I got INFJ which is Albus Dumbledore :). Not sure which one I'm more of... the Myers-Briggs is much more in depth though.
Generally quite introverted, but in the right environment I can get a bit louder. I used to be really shy, and still am a bit
