It's funny how life looks nothing like your dreams. You want things to come true and they can. Trick is that it takes hard work, lots of energy and passion. You can't stop—and let others talk you out of it. Apparently, you can't be a maladaptive daydreamer. It will mess with your mind and drag you down. It will suck you away from your biggest goals. You'll wake up years in the future, and see damn well nothing. You did nothing. You just daydreamed for hours and hours into the day. Not only that, people have been noticing what you've been doing, when you've been under it's influence. It's shocking that you've believed in your own stream of fantasies so long, only to find out it was never real to begin with. Your feelings might vary, and you may be angry at yourself for starting it. You wonder what possibly could've targeted you to begin in the first place. Then you realize, it might've been loneliness and social rejection, family abuse, failures or other excuses. Maybe you just didn't belong anywhere, and you created a world that makes everything easier. But, you miss the fact that you can't just daydream to escape life itself, and it's a much better solution if you got some professional assistance.

After 15 years of being an MD'er I learned a great deal. I hope to be more successful than ever, in spite of the damage that MD has put in my life.
