can MD lead to schizophrenia?

Hi I'm new and I've been trying to manage my MD...i have good days and i have bad days...however i have lessened my md alottttt from what it used to be..anyway i read on a forum that md(when it gets really bad) can lead to schizophrenia. IS there any thruth in that cuz it's freaking me the hell out!!!!!!!!

I don't think so. You KNOW your DDs are fake. Schizophrenia is when you don't know the difference between reality and imagination. You also see and hear things that aren't there. I think they're two completely different things.
