I have one day dream that is continuous. I have no breaks inbetween in which I snap back to reality. I am constantly stuck in one day dream even if there people around. Is anyone else the same?

So basically I've stupidly hooked up with a friend whilst drunk a few times. I've had a huge crush on him for a few years but never thought I'd be in with a chance. Im feeling pretty shitty as im now developing feelings for him again and dont wanted be rejected if I was to tell him I like him. I haven't posted anything on this site for over a year but do still visit regularly. I have good days and bad days but am today is definitely a bad day. I cannot stop thinking about this condition that I have and how much it has hindered most aspects of my life. I feel like I'm losing my grip on reality and have no one to talk to. I am 22 years old and for as long as I can remember I've day dreamed excessively. My day dreaming worsened when my mum passed away due to alcoholism when I was 6.
