Update on Grendel's situation

This is another non-MD story, so forgive me.  It's just on my mind.

I just looked over my budget, and while things are tight, it looks like I'm still on track to be able to afford Grendel's surgery within a couple of months, if the vet will still let me do a payment plan, and I think they will.  I'm saving slowly.  They gave me 2 amounts, a minimum and a maximum.  I'm saving up for the minimum amount, and then I'm going to ask them to do the maximum on a payment plan.  

For those who don't know, this is for a tiny abscess the vet found on Grendel's tooth recently.  The vet said it could take years to progress, but that he'd be in pain while it did.  The good news is it's really tiny right now, and he shows no signs of being in any pain yet.  We should be able to take care of it early.  He's acting normally: sleeping all day and getting up to eat, poo, whine for love, and play too roughly with his sister.  Lol.  

Please send good vibes that I'll keep to my budget and pay for my baby's surgery soon and of course that it'll go well.  

Thanks in advance, and thanks to everyone who's been supportive and caring about my little problems.  It helps to have somewhere to go where people are so kind and caring.

Yeah, we live in a small apartment, but it's fine because my cats love small spaces.  Grendel frequently sleeps for hours under the covers or in the cabinet.  Lol.

We also have a cat - she used to go outside, but got terribly bitten by the neighbor tom-cat. We went at night to the emergency-vet who cleaned the wounds and told us to go to our vet the next day. We were not sure, whether she would survive the night - she did. She had to have an operation, and as it was an emergency, we could not safe the money for it. So we put all the money together that was available, my youngest daughter gave the biggest part from her savings. Our cat is fine again, but we no longer let her outside.
