This is kind of annoying for me...

Okay, in my DD, I have one character who has been around since I started (at the start, sometimes she was me and sometimes she was her, now she's just her and I'm me) and I always called her Girlie (not sure why. Like a little kid calls (somehow I typed 'also' instead of 'calls'. What?) their stuffed animal things like Fluffy, Woofer, Uni, based on either the animal or it's looks) and I later realised, because I occasionally introduced her to friends (In the DD, and these scenarios never stuck around either) that I should give her a proper name an because she's not actually human, her species generally gives really long names and I just shortened hers to the first to syllables, and now it's just Karla, but I still haven't got a name for her boyfriend who's been around what, 1 year, two years? I'm not exactly sure. Also, in the past few months (since about Feb or March, I think) there's been another of her species around, a guy, who also has no name yet, (You know how some guys act kinda perverted, and make all those comments and stuff? Well, he does that lots to me, a 16yr old virgin in both real life and fantasy, and also, every time he sees me, if he can, he picks me up and gives me a hard kiss on the mouth and then I get annoyed at him for that)

Anyway, I haven't got a name for the two guys and it's really annoying!! Like, Karla's name took it's time to come about and stick, but the guys I think need names but I can't think of any. I have tried to give them one but it never stuck, which means it's just not right for me.

Sorry if some of that makes little to no sense, as I ramble when I type and then I either can't be bothered reading over it, even skimming, or I just don't know the best way to fix it so it makes some sense.

One of the guys is slowly becoming Tori. I don't know if it'll end up Karla's b or the other guy, and it's kinda weird to say that and realize it but yeah. I think one of them will be Tori.

i can always pick a first name but its so hard to pick a last name lol. i always think of a random celebrity or tv character or something and name a character after them, but i never know how to choose their last names. i have 2 charcaters who are related and i cannot think of a last name that sounds good with both of their names for the life of me..........ive changed it like 4 times lol

wow, it's not just me. lol. I have been having the same issue. For the longest time I had two main male characters, always the same two names whatever the senerio, but now the character has changed, hair, attitude etc and I can't nail down a name for him. Nothing seems to fit, it makes the DDs very disjointed, not being able to really talk to him, without a name. Very strange.

It makes perfect sence! Right now I am in the same dilemma. I never fully had names for a lot of my dd charictors. I had names for the common close ones but not the others and I keep like u thinking Of different names but they just won't stick. Now I'm thinking give it time. Why need To rush with a name just yet I know that the name will eventually come not when I'm trying to force a name on the charictor but when I'm really into my dd the name usually slips out. What helps is drawing stick figures of the charictors and leaving a space for the name it will eventually come. X
