Maladaptive Daydreaming: where wild minds come to rest
What do people think of this idea? Do you think there are enough of us out there or registered on this website? Can we form self help groups of at least 5 or more in our city or local region? Meetup.com would be a useful website for this. What are your thoughts?

That's a good idea. We're not that different from alcoholics or over eaters.
Going through the 12 steps
having goals for ourselves
being accountable to each other
place to cry when we don's succeed
place to celebrate when we do
BTW, if you want to reply, pls reply on the new blog post if you would.
Alright, i know this blog was made along time ago but i wanna ask you guys again. Are any of you still interested in an online support group via Google Hangout? I made a recent blog about it:http://wildminds.ning.com/profiles/blogs/online-group-therapy?xg_so... .
If so, what time would be best for everybody? 9 pm MT time(my timezone) would be 10 pm on the west coast and 7 pm on the east coast. Should be it be on a weekend(Sunday) or a weekday(Wednesday)?
Totally! We should do that!
I would love to meet other MD'ers. I've felt so, so alone in this whole struggle to stop daydreaming - it would be nice to talk to others face to face. Wilds Minds has been great as far as allowing this community to come together, but I am still the only person I know of who daydreams. That's very isolating. I'm sure others still feel isolated despite this site. I'm not saying everyone on here doesn't doesn't exist or something, I'm saying that, again, I'm the only daydreamer I know in my real life.
I live in New York City, and please, if you live near here and want to meet another daydreamer, drop me a line.
Then the real question is...do people think it's more effective to talk about this issue in person?
Well the idea of this blog is group therapy in person is a more effective experience than online correspondence through posts, messages, etc.
Isn't this website essentially a self-help group?
