2. the said psychologist has not given any concrete CT, MRI or PET scan proofs to prove the origin of the disorder
3. the disorder is very much present. and it is considered to be an maladaptive form of personality, where by anxiety in a person pushes him to avoid a task at hand by day dreaming.
4. procrastination is a major part of this disorder .
5. as you said, medications like TCA and benzodiapezine, are not required to be taken regularly...
6. certain medications can help in bringing the day dreaming process down. but they have to be modulated as not to cause major side effects
7. if you are ready to train your mind and make it strong that there are few techniques you can follow:
a. plan you day. make sure you follow the plan. and there is no relaxation on the same.
make your plan realistic.
dont overburden yourself
just put a maximum of 2 major tasks and 3 minor tasks per day
if you continue doing so with success for 3months, your mind will automatically be trained to combat anxiety and take onto achieving a goal.
b. self-hypnosis
