Has anyone ever had them? I get them quite often and was wondering if there was a connection. I'm usually almost asleep or awake but relaxed when they happen. Sometimes I can see, sometimes I can't. All sorts of things happen, I fall through the floor to the room downstairs or I go upwards through the roof and into the air.

Anyway, not everyone believes in this sort of thing. But it is all about a state of mind. When we go off into a DD it's almost like meditation. We go somewhere else and I think that's what it's like with out of body experiences. Sometimes people go out of their body and end up in the real world and can see their own body (this happened to me a lot when I was a child). Sometimes they go to a dark version of the real world, there are no people but there is a breeze and you can feel that there may be spirits there. This may be the astral plane, or it's how I saw it anyway.

I just thought it would be interesting as there is obviously something about my mind (or our minds) that is different to those of other people.

Obviously, not all beliefs support the theory of out of body experiences or spirits. But I believe in them pretty strongly, without being religious.

That's what it's like for me when it starts. There are things you can do to bring it about, sort of like meditation. It's pretty cool.

Also, I've noticed that when I dd (it's been a lot lately) my pupils go HUGE and my eyes are very spaced out. Probably because I haven't been focussing on anything. It's been happening to me a lot at work lately and people keep asking me if I'm tired because of my eyes.

I've already read up on it and know about it.

I don't think that it is a problem or something I should see a doctor about at all.

I already read about this experience

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Out-of-body_experience

I think it is important that you try to join all symptoms to try to discover if this issue is related to another problem.

Wikipedia have very usefull information about this, try to read about depersonalisation and derealization.

You should talk with a doctor about this experience, probably you are not the only one with this problem, the doctor will understand you and he can help you.
