Operation Take-Back-My-Life: Day Two

I went for a morning jog today as I had planned to. I only ran for about five minutes, but that's okay: My goal was to get out the front door and do some form of exercise; not break the world record for longest sprint.

I can't say I've been that productive since then. I've definitely spent less time daydreaming and getting more involved with my friends. I've made plans to see two of my friends next week. And I'm going to try to get in touch with my friend overseas for a skype date.

I realize now why so many people around us are social. They don't have a fantasy world inside their heads to keep them busy and entertained. They have to take the initiative to seek friendships and relationships. I'm curious about who I would have been without MD.

Would I have been a better person? Would I have been worse? Meh...I guess it doesn't matter now.

Well done on getting some exercise and making the effort to socialize with friends :D I hope it made you feel good about yourself :D Like Hollie said, don't dwell on the 'what ifs' of life.... I'm sure if I'd spent more time putting energy into meeting people and concentrating on my studies than day dreaming, I would have been a genius with a hectic social life by now :-P But there we go... :) You should be proud of yourself for making the effort to 'take-back-your-life' ;)

Andi and Hollie... have either of you read the book, 'The perks of being a wallflower'?
