loving fluoxetine - byebye drop dead fred

been on 40mgs of fluoxetine for a while now and i can honestly say it definitely helps me to control my md.

I still do it dont get me wrong but its much much less now than before.

i guess this is because the fluoxetine ie prozac stops you from being able to concentrate for too long and it peps you up so you dont need as much daydream-time.

citalopram on the other hand was pure evil stuff and it got me lost in my head for hours and hours. when i was on this my life was rubbish as nothing in the real world seemed to matter and i was so tired all the time with only daydreams to motivate me.

the main downside is it can make you a little too sharp so that you can end up being a bit 'snappy' whereas usually  it without an MD sufferer would be too busy in a world of their own to get so bothered about things.

the person in cynthias study also agreeed that fluoxetine helped her control it so it might work for you too. you have to give it a couple of months to kick in though so dont give up on it too fast if it doesnt work straight away.

take care and speak to you soon love sky xx
