How to add a photo

Can anyone explain in very simple terms how to add a photo for my icon? I think I might be lacking something on my computer.

Comment by roxanne on October 21, 2011 at 7:53pm: So you can't just do it by having a link for it? I tried to put this picture (of Dreamer painting) in a folder, but it wouldn't go. The only picture I've been able to get in a folder is Elvis & I was tempted to use that. I don't even know how I did that or I would put others in folder. Oh well, it was a nice thought. Thanks for trying to help. I kept the rest of the steps in case I ever learn that part of it.

Do you have a picture in mind on your computer? You just have to know where it is and how to get to it. Then it's pretty easy. You can also find one on the internet and save it to your computer and then upload it, but you have to know how to do that and how to get to it. I'm not very good at explaining things, so it might be best if you have someone show you.

Comment by Cordellia Amethyste Rose on October 20, 2011 at 7:48pm: Click on "my page". Hover your mouse over your icon. At the top, a link should appear that says "Change photo". Click on that. A new page will open that allows you to change your photo. Click the button that says "choose file". Then go to where the picture that you want to upload is on your computer, select it, and click "open". Then, at the bottom of the page, click "save". I hope that helps.
