Grendel's getting surgery!

As some of you know, my poor cat, Grendel, has needed surgery for an abscess on his tooth for months.  One person donated a generous amount of money, and I've been saving but still had a long way to go.  Then, a dear person who's been like a mom to me donated a bunch of money, so now I can get the surgery.  The doctor who'd given me the old estimate left, so I had to get a new one, and it's a little bit more expensive, and his problem has gotten a little worse, but it's not too bad.  I'll only owe about $95 left, and they said I can pay that off within a couple of months.  I scheduled his surgery for December 19th.  I'm going to be on pins and needles until he's safely back in my arms.  In the meantime, he's playing and acting normally.  

He's actually been kind of a brat lately.  He's always been fond of biting.  He has a habit of pinning his sister down and biting her, which of course she doesn't like.  He used to only do it once in a while, but lately he's doing it multiple times a day.  I told a lady at the vet's office, and she said he's just being a butt-head and recommended a Feliway diffuser.  Has anyone tried this?  She said it should calm him down.  They're on sale right now, so I ordered one.  I hope it works.  Mia loves her brother, but she doesn't like being bitten.  She forgives him the instant he stops, but I'm sure she's tired of it.  

Anyway, send prayers and positive thoughts on the 19th.  I'm going to be a nervous wreck.
